State bans fishing on old Seven Mile Bridge
Henry Flagler's old Seven Mile Bridge, completed in 1912 and called the Eighth Wonder of the World, is crumbling. The steel structure survived the Keys' devastating hurricane of 1935, but a century of use and exposure has made it increasingly unsafe.
